Carleton College issued the following announcement on Feb. 06. 

The new Eric ’66 and Mimi ’66 Carlson Endowed Fund for Community and Civic Engagement will support experiential learning opportunities for students participating in community initiatives through the Carleton College Center for Community and Civic Engagement (CCCE). In its first year, the fund will support a Certified Nursing Assistant training program, Academic Civic Engagement courses, Community Based Work Study positions, and the CCCE’s alternative spring break trips!
