Of the 16,366 people living in Red Wing in 2020, 49.9 percent (8,166) were women and 50.1 percent (8,200) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Twin Cities.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 69. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,648 females and 1,626 males.
