City Of Cannon Falls issued the following announcement on May 23.

SWAN UPDATE: We have received may calls from concerned citizens pertaining to one of the swans with a broken wing at Minnieska Park. The swan injured it’s wing the week of April 19, and attempts have been made to take it to a rehab center, but due to the spread of the “Bird Flu”, they are not accepting birds at this time.

Their best advice was to leave the swan and monitor it.  It  has been seen swimming and eating. Thank you for keeping an eye on our little community member
