Faribault Senior High School issued the following announcement on Mar. 16. 

Mr. Stenross AP Biology Class has been working on a Bacterial Transformation Lab.  They took a gene from JellyFish that causes them to fluoresce and inserted that into E. coli bacteria.  

The students will test the petri dishes for bacterial growth, and whether the bacteria took in the DNA by glowing.
