Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.75 per gallon at one gas station in Rice County during the week ending Feb. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Midgrade gas prices averaged $3.04 per gallon in Rice County.
Rice County had eight of 27 reported gas stations offering midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Minnesota was $3.18, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
