City of Cannon Falls issued the following announcement on May 21.
A decision was made at the 5-19-20 City Council meeting to close the Cannon Falls Community Pool for the summer of 2020. It was an immensely tough decision and many factors were deeply discussed. One reason is that social distancing in our small locker rooms and out on the pool deck during open swim and swimming lessons can not be controlled. Another reason is that there are significant repairs that need to be made to the 50 year old pool. Combining those two factors led to the tough decision to remain closed.
