Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Psd recently issued the following announcement.
The monthly school board meeting will be held as scheduled but online only to meet the social distancing guidelines due to limited space in the board room. The meeting can be viewed live via Zoom and will be recorded and made available on the website for later viewing in case of technical difficulties or for those who are not available during the live meeting or those wishing to view it again and share it with others.

If you have a comment that you want to be read during visitor comment time, please submit it before 5:00 p.m. on meeting day by sending an email to visitorcomments@wem.k12.mn.us.
Comments from visitors should be informational in nature and not exceed 3 minutes per issue. The Board will not engage in a discussion or debate but will take the information and find answers if it is appropriate. As part of the protocol, visitors must keep their ideas and opinions related to policy issues. It is unacceptable for any speaker to slander, engage in character assassination, or discuss student or personnel issues (i.e. teacher, coaches, bus drivers, principals, board members, etc.) at a public board meeting.
The microphones of guests will be muted by the host.
It is recommended that guests disable their video if it is not disabled by default (so you can see the board members and speakers, but no one can see you).
Guests will be in a "waiting room" until the meeting begins.
The Zoom app must be installed on user devices. It is suggested to install it in advance of the meeting start time. Attendees can use any computer, smartphone, or Chromebook.
WEM School Board meetings are scheduled for the fourth Monday of each month with the third Monday as an alternative if the 4th Monday is a holiday.
Meeting times are 6:00 PM in the WEM Board Room (when social distancing is not in place) in Waterville.
Special Meetings will be conducted on the second Thursday of the month if possible.
