City of Elysian issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
Attention Elysian City Residents! If you have large items, bulky items such as mattresses, and/or appliances to get rid of Do Not Place Them In Your Garbage Cans! You can bring these to the Citywide clean up on October 3, 2020 or you can contact West Central Sanitation directly at 1-800-246-7630 to prepay for and schedule pick up of the items. Large items will be serviced the same day as regular trash service at a cost of $25 per item/$45 per mattress (all sizes) and box spring plus tax. Appliances will be picked up the last Thursday of the month for $30 each plus tax. Prior payment and arrangement of pickup is required prior to placing items out for pick up. We will be having a Citywide clean up on October 3, 2020 from 8:30am- 11:00am at the Lake Francis Park.
