Faribault Senior High School issued the following announcement on Nov. 30.
FHS Student Council has started their annual fundraising for Toys for Tots! The students decided to have a donation table at the winter band concert on Monday, December 5th at 7pm. The concert is free to the public. There will be a table set up near the front entrance where some Student Council members will be accepting new toy donations and monetary donations that will then be used to purchase toys.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them. All of the fundraising and toys that we receive go to the local Toys for Tots which is operated at the Faribault American Legion.
