Cannon Falls Elementary School issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
A Class Full of Authors!
Each second-grade class published their own copy of The Important Book, based on the book of the same name by Margaret Wise Brown.
This is an annual tradition in second grade! Each student picks a topic, writes a paragraph, and then creates a picture to go with their paragraph. They then get together with the other second-grade classes to share their books!
