City of Faribault issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.
Absolute Air has its eyes on a November 2020 opening date following its Sept. 29th ground-breaking ceremony.
The company, which invested $32 million into its soon-to-be standing air separation plant, will produce oxygen, nitrogen and argon - commonly needed in metal fabrication, blanketing, purging, combustion, chilling and freezing.
The plant will result in the creation of 20 jobs within 3 years, and plans to begin shipping its product from the facility in November 2020.
