City of Cannon Falls issued the following announcement on March 17
School is closed, and for some kids that could mean missing meals. Fortunately, school districts are offering grab-and-go food for kids in their community. See below for more information about specific communities:
Cannon Falls: All families with children 18 and under may pick up free meals on March 18, 19 and 20 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Elementary main entrance. Breakfast and lunch is available for all students and will be packed for multiple days. Meals will be available for pick up on originally scheduled school days. Meals are NOT available during Spring Break.

Kenyon-Wanamingo: Students with a need can access free meals beginning Wednesday, March 18th through Friday, March 20th, resuming Monday, March 23rd through Friday, March 27th. Meals each day will include a grab-and-go lunch and breakfast item for the following morning. Pine Island: Beginning on Monday, March 23rd, limited meal service will be distributed at the 5-12 building in a “grab-n-go” format for those in need. Curbside pick-up will be offered from 6-8am on a daily basis. Both breakfast and lunch will be included in the single pick-up. Red Wing: FREE meals for children 18 and under! Breakfast and Lunch are being provided through the below locations at NO cost and available to all children 18 and under. Zumbrota-Mazeppa: ZM Schools will be providing a grab 'n go meal for children age 0-18 during the mandatory school shut-down. This meal will consist of a lunch and a breakfast for the following day. Meals will be picked up between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday - Friday beginning March 18 at the following sites: Primary School Main Door 17, 799 Mill Street, Zumbrota.
