ARCADIA CHARTER SCHOOL: With senior projects

College4

Arcadia Charter School issued the following announcement on Sept. 16.

With senior projects ranging everywhere from theater makeup to the chemical origin of life, Arcadians are able to explore their passions and diverse interests on their final, most important project.  Last fall, Eli Vosejpka (‘20) wanted to push past the typical confinements of the senior project process and do something that would leave a long-lasting mark on Arcadia.  Hoping to give Arcadia a final gift before saying goodbye to what he refers to as his “second-home,” Eli took on the monumental task of recreating the Arcadia sign.  Working closely alongside the marketing committee, Eli not only created the new sign by using a variety of metal-working skills but also helped reinvent Arcadia’s logo in the process.

While basing the design off of Arcadia’s original tree, Eli wanted to revitalize the concept by incorporating bright colors, bold lines, and a sense of uniqueness into the final product.  Needless to say, the end product was a beautiful reflection of the Arcadian community.

As Eli’s sign now stands proudly at the foot of Arcadia, we’d all like to give him a huge thank you for his tremendous efforts! His work will be greatly admired for years to come!
