Democratic candidate Michelle Lee’s bid to unseat Republican incumbent Jason Rarick for Senate District 11 in Senate was futile.
She conceded defeat and wished the incumbent well.
“Congratulations to Senator, Jason Rarick. I wish him the best of luck representing the folks who call Senate District 11 home. As the late Senator Paul Wellstone said, "we all do better when we all do better," she posted on Facebook.
She also called upon people to join hands in the fight against COVID-19.
“If 2020 has taught us anything it is this, we must set aside our differences and join forces to do everything within our power to combat the devastating toll Covid 19 continues to have on lives and livelihoods and lift up our communities in the months and years ahead,” read part of her post.
