On Saturday, March 29, former Zumbrota Mazeppa High School standout Avery Steffen’s current college team, the Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Concordia Golden Bears.

The game took place at Carlander Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Dragons’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 1 p.m. at MSU Bubble @ Herb Parker Stadium against Minot State Beavers.
