Pam Altendorf, a Minnesota state legislator, has recently posted several comments on her social media account addressing state politics and leadership actions.

On September 29, 2025, Altendorf wrote a public service announcement stating, "Only @Tim_Walz has the authority to call a Special Session in the State of MN. We are on REPEAT…..@GovTimWalz: Threatens a Special Session ️Blames Republicans ️Media runs story without asking tough questions The #MNmedia needs to stop giving https://t.co/Y6M7AqEdWL".

The following day, on September 30, 2025, she criticized Democratic priorities by posting, "Looks like Democrats have a priority problem…. Illegals over US citizens #SchumerShutdown https://t.co/uGiIH8936R".

Later that same day, Altendorf expressed support for Republican leaders while criticizing Governor Tim Walz's response to a recent tragedy. She stated, "We appreciate the strong leadership of Speaker @LisaDemuthMN and Leader @HarryNiska! @Tim_Walz has been politicizing a horrific tragedy and I’m glad to see his abhorrent behavior being called out! #mnleg https://t.co/OZJlLg63mY".

Altendorf's remarks reflect ongoing partisan tensions in Minnesota's political landscape. As per state law, only the governor can convene a special legislative session in Minnesota. Her statements also reference broader national debates regarding immigration policy and government shutdowns.
