City of wanamingo issued the following announcement on Aug. 6.
SEMMCHRA has grant funding to assist struggling home owners and renters who have been economically impacted by COVID 19 for up to $5,000. Funds can be used to pay: Mortgage, Rent or Contract for Deed Payments, HOA Dues, Homeowner’s Insurance, Utility Bills, Septic System Pumping, or Lot Rent for Mobile Homes. The applicant must meet income guidelines and the economic hardship must be due to COVID 19. Only expenditures incurred between March 1, 2020 and December 15, 2020 will be eligible for the program.
