Pam Altendorf, a Minnesota state legislator, recently posted a series of tweets addressing political developments and public safety issues in Minnesota.

On August 27, 2025, Altendorf called for prayers for the state, writing "PRAY for MINNESOTA! #PrayForMinnesota".

The following day, August 28, she encouraged her followers to support another local politician. In her post, she stated: "WATCH If not already…? You should follow @elliottengenMN He is always thinking outside-of-the box and leading with new ideas and real solutions for Minnesotans! #MNleg @mnhousegop @mngop https://t.co/OsBiyiZDwe".

On August 29, Altendorf criticized recent gun legislation in Minnesota. She wrote: " RED FLAG Laws pushed into law by the radical @MinnesotaDFL trifecta! Their gun laws FAILED A horrific murder happens and they’re demanding more gun laws. WHY….!? It’s not really about saving the children. It’s about… Fear Manipulation Fundraising And https://t.co/AJ6I9GtWqq".

Red flag laws allow courts to temporarily remove firearms from individuals deemed a risk to themselves or others. In May 2023, Minnesota enacted such legislation as part of broader public safety reforms under Democratic leadership in response to ongoing concerns about gun violence in the state (https://www.mprnews.org/story/2023/05/19/minnesota-legislature-dfl-gun-control-public-safety-budget).

Pam Altendorf serves as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives and has been an outspoken critic of several legislative initiatives led by the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party majority.
