Pam Altendorf, a Minnesota state legislator, has recently used her social media platform to question the integrity of Minnesota's election system and promote community engagement events. In a series of posts on August 22 and 23, 2025, Altendorf referenced statements from both state officials and party leaders regarding election security and alleged irregularities.

On August 22, Altendorf posted: "MN SOS regularly boasts: 'MN has the most secure elections in the Country' @MinnesotaDFL CHAIR: 'After a review (we) found substantial failures in the voting process' MN Dems just revoked Fateh’s endorsement due to profound cheating Both statements above can’t be true. Begging https://t.co/7QdIrx3RKK https://t.co/1s8aIJQ6Uo". This post references comments by Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon about election security as well as recent actions by Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party leadership concerning an endorsement revocation over alleged misconduct.

Later that day, Altendorf encouraged constituents to engage with local representatives at a public event. She wrote: "Friday Night @mnstatefair Stop by and talk to @MarkkoranMN and me! https://t.co/DpW3UNlZFp" on August 22.

The following morning, she drew attention to previous claims about ballot harvesting in Minnesota. Her post stated: "WATCH 2020 investigation of ballot harvesting in Minnesota. 'Minnesota has ‘most secure’ elections in the Country' ~ @MNSteveSimon https://t.co/o9PobhfBJA" on August 23.

These posts come amid ongoing debates about election security both within Minnesota and nationally. Secretary of State Steve Simon has consistently defended the state's electoral processes, stating that Minnesota employs rigorous safeguards against fraud and manipulation. Meanwhile, internal disputes within political parties—such as the DFL's decision to revoke an endorsement over allegations of cheating—have fueled further scrutiny from some lawmakers and members of the public.
