City Of Le Sueur recently issued the following announcement.

The state primary election is next Tuesday, August 9th.  Here are a couple of updates and helpful hints for election day!

Le Sueur City Hall (203 South Second Street) is the polling location for City of Le Sueur residents.  The intersection of Second Street and Ferry Street WILL be open on election day.  We would like to thank our partners at Bolton & Menk and S.M. Hentges for working with us to ensure our building is as accessible as possible for our voters during construction.  Detours to City Hall are clearly marked (follow orange directional signs).

Voters should park in the Library parking lot or utilize street parking on Second Street.  Upper level parking will not be available that day.  There will be several handicap accessible parking spaces in front the of Police station that day.

Absentee voting is also an option and is available to all voters.  Absentee voting takes place at the Le Sueur County courthouse (88 South Park Ave., Le Center).  Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday, August 6th from 10:00am - 3:00pm.  You can vote absentee until Monday, August 8th at 5:00pm.

If you have any election questions, please contact City Hall at (507) 665-6401.  You can also visit our elections page at: https://www.cityoflesueur.com/218/Election-Informatio
