City Of Le Sueur recently issued the following announcement.
CSAH36 Weekly Construction Update from Bolton & Menk:
Week of August 22
• The contractor completed the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, sanitary services, water services, and storm sewer on Main Street from 2nd Street through the intersection of Maag Street.
• Worked on grading the roadway along Ferry Street from Main Street to 3rd Street. The contractor placed sand and class 5 along Ferry Street from Main Street to 2nd Street.
• Installed lights along Main Street from Davis Street to Ferry Street.
Week of August 29
• Install sanitary sewer along Main Street from Maag Street to the southern limits of the project. Following the completion of the sanitary sewer, the contractor will install watermain from Maag Street to the southern limits of the project.
• Continue grading roadway along Ferry Street from 2nd Street to 4th Street with the goal of placing sand and class 5 up to 4th Street.
• Pour curb and gutter on Ferry Street from Main Street to 2nd Street. Following the completion of the curb and gutter the contractor will work on sidewalk along Main Street south of Davis Street and along Ferry Street from Main Street to 2nd Street.
• Work on installing the masonry on the monument at the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Street.
