City Of Le Sueur issued the following announcement on Sep. 06.
CSAH36 Weekly Construction Update from Bolton & Menk:
Week of August 29
• The contractor completed the sanitary sewer along Main Street from Maag Street to the southern limits of the project. Following the completion of the sanitary sewer, the contractor started installing the watermain from Maag Street to the southern limits of the project.
• Finished placing sand and class 5 along Ferry Street up to 4th Street.
• Poured curb and gutter on Ferry Street from Main Street to the alley between 2nd Street and 3rd Street.
• Started installing the masonry on the monument at the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Street.
Week of September 5
• The contractor will finish installing watermain along Main Street to the southern limits of the project. They will also place watermain going up 3rd Street. After the watermain has been installed, the contractor will install the sanitary sewer and water services to the properties along Main Street south of Maag Street. The contractor will also work on installing storm sewer along Main Street from Maag Street to the southern limits of the project.
• Grade sidewalk along both Ferry Street and Main Street.
• Pour the remainder of the curb and gutter on Ferry Street up to 4th Street. Following the completion of the curb and gutter, the contractor will begin working on sidewalk along Ferry Street from Main Street to 2nd Street.
• Install lighting conduit and light bases along Ferry Street up to City Hall.
• Continue installing the masonry on the monument at the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Street.
