The City of Wabasha is now accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Technician. This position will perform semi-skilled and skilled work and operate light to medium equipment as directed by the Public Works Director and Assistant Director. This position is involved in the repair and maintenance of city streets, storm sewers, equipment, grounds, buildings, city parks, swimming pool, skating rink, campgrounds, and warming house; and performs related duties as required.
Required: Current Class B CDL driver’s license with airbrakes endorsement or ability to obtain within four months, 1 year of maintenance or construction experience, and a high school degree or equivalent. Additional licenses may be required per job duties. Qualified candidate must reside within 30 minute response time .
