CITY OF FAIRBAULT: Outdoor Ice Rinks Ready for Use

Icepark

City of Faribault issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.

Thanks to a cold stretch of weather in early December, the outdoor rinks are now ready for use. The Jefferson facility, located at 920 9th Ave. SW, has two hockey rinks, along with one leisure rink where no hockey is allowed. Additionally, a warming house is available during open hours for folks to get their skates on before heading out on the ice.

Hours at the Jefferson rink are Monday through Friday from 4-9 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 1-9 p.m.

The Parks and Recreation Department also flooded another ice rink along the river, between Crooked Pint and the viaduct on Hwy. 60.
