City of Elysian issued the following announcement on Jan. 8.
Le Sueur County residents can now dispose of their household hazardous waste by appointment in January & February 2020.
Blue Earth County (BEC) has a few rules for our residents to abide by:
1.)Residents need to call BEC for an appointment to dispose of household hazardous waste at 507-304-4381.
2.)Appointments will be made for Tuesday’s only from 12 pm to 4 pm. If that Tuesday is full then the resident will be scheduled for the next
Tuesday.
3.) This opportunity is for Residents only – NO Businesses. Businesses may schedule under our separate Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG)
program by calling me at 507-381-9196 or BEC.
4.) Appointments can be made from January 7th through February 25th.
