City of Faribault issued the following announcement on Feb. 11.
With more fresh snow in our area, it’s important to remember to make clearing your area fire hydrant a priority.
If you can’t see your hydrants, neither can firefighters during an emergency. Consider adopting a hydrant in your neighborhood. The City of Faribault wants to remind residents that it doesn’t have to be the property owner that clears it - it can be anyone in the neighborhood that would benefit from the hydrant.
