CITY OF FARIBAULT: Faribault Making Changes To Parks and Recreation Programming

City of Faribault issued the following announcement on March 12

Following the unveiling of  Friday’s recommendations by the Minnesota Department of Health, the City of Faribault is making several changes to its Parks and Recreation programming.

Until further notice the following events are cancelled:

  • Adult Open Gym at the Armory
  • Open Gym at the Community Center
  • Soccer Rentals
  • Tae Kwon Do
  • Racquetball
Additionally, group fitness will be cancelled starting tomorrow, Saturday, March 14, through all of next week. Classes will be held tonight, March 13, and aqua zumba will be held tomorrow, March 14. 

Programs that remain on as previously scheduled are:

  • Lap Swim
  • Open Swim
  • Pickleball
  • Fitness Room
  • Yoga Classes
  • Skating Lessons
  • Water Aerobics
  • Swim Lessons
When participating in these activities, please allow social distancing of 6 feet.
