City of Kenyon issued the following announcement on May 28.
On Thursday, May 28, 2020, beginning about 8 am until approximately 12 pm KMU will be disconnecting the electricity for those living on 8th Street and the 900 block of Red Wing Avenue, including the trailer court.
This work will be dependent on the weather. In case of inclement weather, the outage will be moved to Friday, May 29, 2020 at the same time.
The electricity will need to be disconnected due to tree removal associated with the Red Wing Avenue construction project.
KMU and the City of Kenyon thank you for your patience and understanding during this process.
