City of Faribault issued the following announcement on June 25.
The Faribault City Council gave the OK to move ahead with the July 4 fireworks; but there are some changes.
The fireworks, scheduled for July 4 at approximately 10 p.m., will be launched from the Rice County Fairgrounds Grandstand track.
The Faribault Charitable Gambling Advisory Board, which funds the July 4 display, can only support these fireworks with community cooperation.
For those who plan to visit North Alexander Park for the July 4 show, please adhere to all social distancing requirements and avoid crowding. Viewers are strongly encouraged to remain in their car.
