City of Dennison issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.
Dennison, MN is currently accepting bids for snow and ice removal for the 2020 – 2021 winter season.
Dennison, Mn will accept bids with hourly rates for the contract period:
• October 1, 2020 to May 15, 2021 The minimum equipment required is:
• Snow Plow - truck with plow, wing and sander with a minimum 5 yard box.
• Road Grader for Plowing Snow - grader with a V-plow and wing with a minimum 150 horse power.
Bids must include a schedule of all available equipment and the applicable hourly rate.
All bids must include a copy of the certificate of insurance showing current worker’s compensation coverage and a general liability policy with an aggregate limit of at least $2,000,000.
Bids will be accepted at City of Dennison PO Box 56, Dennison, MN 55018.
The deadline for submitting bids is Friday August 28th 2020 by 5 pm. Bids will be opened at that time and prepared for consideration by the city council. Bids will be considered at the monthly Council Meeting held at the Dennison City Hall on Thursday, September 3 rd, 2020 at 7:00pm.
