City of Kenyon issued the following announcement on Oct. 31.
Under a federal court ruling, ballots must now be received by Election Day to be Counted.
The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Oct. 29 overruled the State of Minnesota's approved consent decree extending the deadlines for submitting absentee and mail ballots. The ruling means absentee and mail ballots must be received by Election Day in order to be counted.
