City of Faribault issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Due to the current public health situation and the increased community spread of COVID-19, Faribault Parks and Recreation will be closing all of its facilities, and canceling all in-person events, effective at 5 p.m. on Nov. 20.
After the closure, we’re aiming to begin offering virtual programming like we did last March/April, PLUS MORE! Please bear with us as we work out those details in the coming days/weeks.
Those who are affected by this announcement should have received an email about membership extension/program cancellation. If you haven't, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 507-334-2064.
