Faribault Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Faribault Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Minnesota lost 548 soldiers in the Korean war and 707 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 421 2nd Ave NW, Faribault will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Eugene H. Truax Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Faribault Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Faribault Ace Hardware is located at 421 2nd Ave NW, Faribault, Minnesota. This location is owned by Joseph Donahue, represented by Jason LaMott and managed by Joseph Donahue.
