City Of Red Wing issued the following announcement.
Going to River City Days this weekend? If you head to Bay Point Park, you might notice a stretch of yellow material floating in the water near the shore and wonder why it's there.
This floating boom was placed in the water earlier today and will help collect trash and debris before it can enter the main channel of the river. Any debris that accumulates will be removed and properly disposed of.
