City Of Red Wing issued the following announcement on Sep. 03.
Good news from Engineering Director Jay Owens - the concrete street pours hit strength, and the City of Red Wing Engineering crew headed down at 7 pm Friday to open Old West Main to through traffic just in time for the holiday weekend! Owens said, “We want to thank the whole group of OWM businesses - they all were so great to work with through this 2-year project.”
There is more work to be done, but we can see the finish line!
