Faribault Senior High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.
Faribault Rotary Club proudly sponsors the 56th annual Youth Benefit Concert on October 17th at 7:00pm at FHS, as a tribute to the fine young people in the Faribault High School Band, Choir and Orchestra and to their directors. Throughout the years these groups have presented many outstanding musical programs to this community. The FHS Choir, Band and Orchestra will be performing some eclectic and great music this year.
Proceeds of this concert go to Faribault Youth Services, Inc., to make further improvements at the Rotary Youth Camp and to provide scholarships for selected Faribault High School students to attend summer music camps, all-state and other musical endeavors.
In 2022, Rotary Music Scholarship winners were Angel Rosas Mercado and Stacie Petricka, Orchestra; Abbe Brien and Jonathan Tutewohl, All around; Oliver Shoop, Logan Gonzalez and Alex Blaschko, Choir; Nadia Baum, Adrian Hernandez, Jillian Huberty and Nathan Warnemunde.
