Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) released the following statement on Interior Secretary Deb Haaland's visit this weekend to Minnesota.
“Secretary Haaland is yet again in Minnesota and she has yet to see our mineral wealth and hear about how it can help secure America’s domestic supply chains. While I am sure she enjoyed her visit to an urban park in St. Paul last time she was here, one would think this time she could also take the time to learn more about the resources we have to offer in Northern Minnesota. I have yet again asked Secretary Haaland to come and visit the Iron Range while she’s in Minnesota to learn about the critical minerals we have. Should she decline or not respond again, it will once again prove that unelected bureaucrats in Washington couldn't care less about the devastating and politically charged decisions they put forward that do so much damage to the future of our communities, my constituents and their families.”
